Day 3 of 5

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:33

Priorities are what come first. If everything is important, nothing is.

Busy is not the same as meaningful. A full calendar can hide an empty heart. Jesus did not tell us to seek God’s kingdom “also.” He said “first.”

Today, look at where your time actually goes, then compare it with what you say matters most. The gap between the two is where change can begin.

Today’s question

If someone looked only at my last seven days, what would they say matters most to me?

One small step

List your top three priorities, in order. Then find one “should” on your schedule this week that does not serve any of them, and let it go.

Do a little; test a lot.
