Day 2 of 5
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10
Many of us answer “Who am I?” with a job title, a role, or a past mistake. Those things are real, but they are not the foundation.
You were created in the image of God, on purpose and for a purpose. Confidence that lasts does not come from comparing yourself to others. It comes from knowing whose you are.
When your identity rests on what God says, other people’s opinions lose some of their grip, and you are free to grow.
Today’s question
What does God say about me that I find hardest to believe?
One small step
Write one sentence that begins “Because I belong to God, I am…” and finish it with a truth from Scripture. Put it where you will see it each morning.
Do a little; test a lot.
